These model standing orders for the Northern Regional Committee of the UCU were approved at UCU Congress in May 2015.
Our Regional Committee is asked to adopt these standing orders during the meeting on Saturday 17th October 2015, after which they will come into effect.
If our regional committee wishes to adopt these model standing orders with local variations, any variations require the agreement of the National Executive Committee. Proposed variations should be sent to Catherine Wilkinson, Head of Constitution and Committees, cwilkinson@ucu.org.uk, at the earliest opportunity.
