Part of UCU’s regional operational plan is to increase participation by maximising involvement and understanding of reps and members.  A large part of this has been the introduction of a regional online presence.  The Northern Region needs to make reps and members aware of these resources so they can be fully utilised.

During a regional office recruitment meeting in January 2016 the need to promote the region’s online presence was discussed.  It was decided that part of this promotion would be the creation of a regional business card.

UCU regional business cards are designed to be used as a recruitment tool while increasing awareness of the region’s online presence.

Using a template designed by Head Office, the Regional Office completed the front design and arranged for printing of 1000 cards.  At the end of January 2016 we issued Branch Secretaries with an initial supply of 20 regional business cards.  Accompanying the business cards was an invitation to request further quantities.  We were delighted with the response to the business cards, with supplies depleted by the end of February.  A second batch of 1000 regional business was produced.  If your branch would like further supplies please contact Emma Alexander at the Regional Office.
