Following the success of February’s NRW2 which saw an 80% increase in new members compared with the same week last year, now is the time to begin preparations for NRW3, taking place 16th – 22nd May.

It doesn’t have to be a massive event, it might just be a small stall at lunch time or visiting staff rooms to talk to people while distributing materials.

The region will shortly have a “Tell us what matters” recruitment stall activity campaign kit for use by branches. We expect to have the campaign kit ready and available for use during NRW3. Your branch might like to purchase your own campaign kit (£41). To check availability of the region’s campaign kit please contact Emma Alexander.

Recruitment stalls are also the ideal opportunity to encourage members to take part in the quick and easy “I’m in the union because…” online photograph campaign and to spread awareness of our region’s online presence via our UCU business cards
