Supporters of the Public Ownership of the Railways were out today leafleting commuters and passers-by as the announcement of rail fare price rises is expected today. UCU was there to support the campaign.
Action for Rail says:
“UK railways need reform. The privatisation of our railways has led to a fragmented and dysfunctional system.”
“We want a railway that puts people before profit.”
