Sexual harassment training day, Darlington

Training for all UCU members organised by UCU Regional Chair Terry Murphy.
The training will focus on understanding the psychological impact of harassment, offering effective support to the member and dealing with institutional or other problems in developing effective practice. Effective liaison with police and other DV safeguarding services will also feature. The course will cover the professional issues involved in supporting members both making accusations and themselves being accused of sexual and other forms of harassment.
The training will be of most benefit to caseworkers but as of 25th July the training is now open to all UCU members in the Northern Region.
Places are limited to 24.
