Sunderland says…stand up to racism : Thursday 2nd March, 5pm

Tackling racism is a key challenge in our society. Refugee children are being turned away by our government, while there has been a rise in reported hate crimes since the referendum. We’ve also seen racism come to the fore in Trump’s America, while Marine Le Pen & Geert Wilders loom in the French and Dutch elections. Anyone interested in standing up to racism should come to this meeting, organised by University of Sunderland, UCU, University Chaplaincy and Sunderland Students’ Union.
