International Women’s Day Event at Newcastle College

Staff and UCU members at Newcastle College have organised an event to celebrate the 100^th anniversary since women got the vote.

There will be fun activities from 10am-3pm including a Suffragette photo booth, face painting, badge and friendship band making and showing of Suffragette the film. The all-women local band The Bangshees will be performing live at 12.15pm.

The event organised by Sacha Langley and Katherine Bone with the support of UCU Branch Secretary Anya Cook.
