The protest was called by Newcastle Unites and supported by North East People’s Assembly, Newcastle Stop the War, Stand Up to Racism North East and Newcastle Palestine Solidarity.
The demonstration on 20th February also showed support for the One Day Without Us national day of action.
UK Parliament will debate whether Trump is allowed to make an official state visit to the UK. Theresa May has invited him, but since then nearly 2 million have signed a petition saying Trump isn’t welcome here.
